When can we meet?
Counselling sessions are available from Monday to Thursday. Currently, due to Covid-19, I offer online counselling only. I have been offering online counselling for three years and found it to be extremely effective.
How does online counselling work?
I am currently offering online counselling via Zoom and Teams. I am also happy to use Skype WhatsApp and FaceTime if that is easier for you. Zoom and Teams are secure and very easy to use. All you have to do is click on the link I send through to you to start your session. More information about Zoom can be found here.
How long are the sessions?
Your therapy sessions will last for 55 minutes and normally we will meet at the same time every week. I can sometimes offer flexibility, for example, to accommodate shift working patterns.
Are our sessions confidential?
How much will counselling cost?
Couples counselling sessions are £70 and family counselling sessions are £75. Individual psychotherapy and relationship coaching sessions are £60.
How can I pay?
All sessions are paid for in advance and you can pay via BACS transfer. I will ask you to pay for any cancelled or missed sessions unless at least 48 hours notice is provided.
How long will counselling last?
We can discuss during your first sessions whether you prefer to have short-term focussed counselling (between 6 and 12 sessions) or whether you would prefer to work in a more open-ended way. Long term psychotherapy can sometimes be very helpful.
Whichever approach you choose, we will regularly review progress and make therapeutic decisions together.
